Bhagavad Gita-Sarartha Varsini Tika - Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura needs no introduction among the followers of Lord Caitanya. He is known for his inspiring ex- plantations filled with sweet realizations of Krsna. His commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita called Sarartha-varsini; "showering the real meaning" likewise reveals sweetness not found in other commentaries on the Guy. His commentary explains the Guy from the perspective of pure bhakti defined by Srila Rupa Goswami as uttama-bhakti and emphasizes the sweetness and mercy of Krsna above all else.
