 Rāgānuga-bhakti means lÄ«lā-smaraṇa. There is no question of rāgānuga-bhakti without lÄ«lā-smaraṇa. It means practicing aṣṭa-kālÄ«ya-lÄ«lā-smaraṇa in one’s guru-given, mentally conceived spiritual body (svarÅ«pa) while taking harināma (“chanting japa”). In other words, dÄ«kṣā is incomplete without siddha-praṇālÄ«. The crux of the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava spiritual practice is to think of yourself as being someone else than who you think you are.
