The Hare Krishna Explosion by Hayagriva dasa describes in vivid detail the period between 1966 and 1969 when Srila Prabhupada single-handedly established the Hare Krishna Movement in the United States. Hayagriva was one of the first disciples of Srila Prabhupada and as he was an English professor at a university Prabhupada immediately engaged him in editing his transcendental books. This is by far one of the best accounts of the early pastimes of Srila Prabhupada in the USA and it truly transports the reader back to those exciting days when the Hare Krishna Movement was actually transforming the world. It is a truly wonderful book.
