Hare Namaiva Kevalam - THE NAME ALONE Nilakanta Gosvāmī's Nāma-kaivalya-Sataka is a devotional work consisting of one hundred verses in praise of the mahā-mantra. Each stanza concludes with a refrain-the celebrated line from the Brhan-naradiya Purana, harer nämaiva kevalam, "only the Holy Name of Lord Hari." Eight of these verses later came to be known collectively as the Kevalāstaka, forming a compact yet profound meditation on the beauty and power of the Holy Name.
This book, entitled The Name Alone, introduces the reader to the mystery of the Holy Name through these eight verses and their accompanying commentaries.
